The population of Hong Kong is ageing fast and the situation is more and more challenging. In this situation, the elderly abuse issue gains the most concerns. This issue may cause a series of social problems. The establishment of “The Against Elderly Abuse of Hong Kong” is to tackle the elderly abuse issue, including abandonment, solitarity, isolation and poverty. Moreover, we provide support to the abused elderly with a one-stop 24hours supporting service. We also provide a respectful hospice service for those elderly in extreme poverty.
